Elgato. You should make a key pad to change channel instead of scrolling thru all. Its only a new paint job. Sure you added a search channels box, but that is not a key pad to change channels. Lame

Since upgrading my iPad to iOS 8, like every loyal iPad/iPhone user did last week, the iPad version wont connect to my eyeTV machine. This is the only change made to my systems. So it looks like this version is incompatible with iOS 8. Please fix. If you’re just buying this now, wait until an update specifically supporting 8 is released.

Purchased this app that suppose to interact with companion eyeTV app on MacBookPro I previously purchased. Whatever I tried with this IOS app on my iPad and iPhone it could not find running eyeTV app on my Mac, making this app on phone/pad useless. Opened a ticket with seller company with no reply to this point.

Give these new people from Geniatech that have recently taken over Elgato ,a little time to improve things. They are doing the right things to improve how this main app and Eyetv Desktop app work together. I am impressed to see latest updates, and am sure that this app , like before will work as well or better than before . Only slight thing that remains to be improved for me is a better server connection, slight moment of spinning wheel in app when connecting to Eyetv account but nothing worrisome.

It is absolutely great to be able to stream live tv to the iPad. Although this app only adds EPG and scheduling functionality when compared to Safari access. I would like to see more features, like being able to browse EPG in a more natural way (like timeline view in the mac app), or to schedule recording while watching the program, or to schedule converting from the iPad, or to watch live converted streams, or to rewind/fastforward by set amount of time (slider is not exact enough). Oh, and the worst problem with the app: max volume is way too low! Have it set on max all the time, but still need completely silent environment to watch tv comfortably. Also, I use AirVideo to watch recordings, because eyetv does not remeber where I stopped watching last time.

freezes all the time on both iPhone 4 and iPad! money wasted...

TV Freezes on iPhone 3GS even with turbo264hd and maximum network bandwidth! Please, fix it!!!

For TV on the mac, this is the best. No matter the price, iti is worth every penny.

got this piece of junk to use like the "EYETV" on my IMAC does not work wants to sell hardware that will not get any TV in my area save your money don’t buy. my rating is zero stars.

The EyeTV app works pretty good, but the airplay button is missing. Prior to iOS 10, the app would stream AirPlay to an Apple TV if AirPlay was selected in the control center. With iOS 10, AirPlay on apps without an AirPlay button as part of the app now defaults to mirroring mode only; theres no way around it. With Geniatech now owning EyeTV, they need to put in a bit of programming effort and add an AirPlay button to this app.

The app doesnt work anymore. Ive had it for about 3 years now. All previous iOS versions were fine. I dont think the Elgato team made any updates for iOS 7.. which means its just broken. Dont get this if youre expecting to watch tv on your device.

Since iOS7 update, my acct is no longer working over the 4G/LTE network.

App crashes, stutters and fails to load since last update. Was fine for the past year.

This used to work great. Now all I can use it now is at home. Will not function out of range of my wifi.

This app is useless. It wont stream even on my 5Ghz home network. I even bought their turbo.264 HD to help with the encoding. I used to be able to use it on 3G, but not any more.

The app works seamless with my EyeTV HD for my MacBook Pro laptop. Good buy. Pros: - I can project to my AppleTV via Airplay and then surf the web. It continues to play video in the background. A small stutter when going into and out of the app but no biggie. - Pretty quick display of recordings, guides, etc. - Quality of playback is very good. - Clean display of guide and data. Cons: - Cant search the guide for specific shows, actors, etc. Only options in the guide are for date/time. - If you change date in guide, it starts at the last time you were at. Minor but a little confusing. - If the last channel you watched was SD and you change to an HD channel, the aspect is incorrect and you get a squished HD display. Workaround is to go to another HD channel and then back again. Same happens HD to SD. - Cant create any Playlists, Smart Guides, etc. from the app. Must go to computer. - Cant delete or publish any recordings to iTunes. Must go to computer. All in all does its job, but next version could be better.

This is the best app ever! Wireless tv on my ipad and iPhone. I dont why this app was just given 2 stars. But this app really works! There can be improvements and design changed to UI! But other than that this app is great!
