Great But...

The app works seamless with my EyeTV HD for my MacBook Pro laptop. Good buy.

Pros:
- I can project to my AppleTV via Airplay and then surf the web. It continues to play video in the background. A small stutter when going into and out of the app but no biggie.
- Pretty quick display of recordings, guides, etc.
- Quality of playback is very good.
- Clean display of guide and data.

Cons:
- Cant search the guide for specific shows, actors, etc. Only options in the guide are for date/time.
- If you change date in guide, it starts at the last time you were at. Minor but a little confusing.
- If the last channel you watched was SD and you change to an HD channel, the aspect is incorrect and you get a squished HD display. Workaround is to go to another HD channel and then back again. Same happens HD to SD.
- Cant create any Playlists, Smart Guides, etc. from the app. Must go to computer.
- Cant delete or publish any recordings to iTunes. Must go to computer.

All in all does its job, but next version could be better.
